John Carl Rule

John Carl Rule was born December 30,1969 in Tucson,Arizona. He passed away on November 26,2019. John lived in Arizona before moving to Pueblo, Colorado in 1976. He later lived in Alamosa before moving to Colorado Springs. John attended public schools and Mitchell High School. After earning his GED, he attended Pikes Peak Community College. John is survived by his wife of 18 years, Tiffni, and their two children, Archer and Sailor. He is also survived by his mother, Susan Rule, his sister, Heather Rule, and his nephews, Tony Rule, Alex (Lisa) Overstreet, Andy (Alyssa) Overstreet, and Adam (Kristen) Overstreet. He also had a great niece, Aubree Rose Overstreet. John also had extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends he considered to be family. John had lots of interests through the years including SCCA racing, stereo system building, working on cars, ATV ice racing, dirt biking, remote control cars and planes, helicopters, and sailing. As a teen, he had a firewood business, then owned his own car stereo business, had his real estate license, and was a daily stock trader. John’s greatest joys were his children. He beamed with joy when he spoke of them, and loved them with his entire heart. He loved teaching them new things, traveling with them, and making them laugh. John will be remembered for his big laugh, his incredible thirst for knowledge, his sense of humor, and his love for his friends and family. He never ended a phone call or a visit without saying “I love you” and we know he sincerely did.
