Kermit Richard Breyer

December 6, 1952 — April 18, 2026

Kermit Richard Breyer was born on December 6, 1952, in Langdon N.D. To Louis John Breyer and Margaret Ann Breyer. Passed away at home on April 18th, 2026, at the age of 73 in Centennial Co. Kermit graduated from the University of Colorado, Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. Kermit furthered his studies in Finance and Accounting obtaining a Master of Business Administration at Regis University in Denver Co.

Kermit rose through the ranks at Lucent Technologies, and was a Comptroller managing two accounting departments in Shreveport La. And Orlando Fl. Kermit also was part owner of a bar in Thornton Co, and was a part owner in one of the first small casinos in Central City Co.

Kermit's religious affiliation was with the catholic church and attended Our Lady of Loreto in Foxfield CO.

In his spare time, he opened a chapter of The Spinal Cord society and organized several charity events benefitting the society.

Kermit loved sports and was quite the athlete in High School participating in Football, Basketball, Baseball, Golf, Hockey, and Track and Field. Prior to his spinal cord injury, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and was always a car enthusiast. He collected John Wayne memorabilia and watched every John Wayne movie ever made. His favorite all-time movie was Mel Brooks ‘Young Frankenstein’.

Funeral will be held at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church 18000 East Arapahoe Rd. Foxfield CO on May 29th at 11:00 a.m. Presided by Father David Bluejacket. Cremation has been handled by Allstates Mortuary. Reception will be held after the mass at the church.

Kermit was proceeded in death by his parents; Louis and Margaret Breyer (Bata). His brother Vincent, and sister Luanne.

Kermit is survived by his sisters; Julianne (Don), and Mary. Brothers; Paul (Judy), Jay (Gail). Numerous nieces and nephews.
