Lois May Bisbee Watt, age 99, passed away July 22,2026 at Covenant Living of Colorado, Westminster, Colorado.

Lois was born July 23,1926 to Roy and Ada Fazier, Knoxville, Iowa.

Lois started her 42year career as a civil service secretary at VA Hospital, Knoxville Iowa in June 1944, one week after graduating from high school. She transferred to VA Hospital Tucson, Arizona and worked there from 1949-61. For decade, her career moved her to USAFAFC Colorado Springs, CO; Missile Base Mtn Home, Idaho; USAF Mira Loma CA; US Forest Service, Durango CO; VA Hospital, Denver CO; USAF Clinic Lowry AFB, Aurora CO; USAF Finance Center, Lowry AFB. She received many awards from the USAF for “Sustained Superior Performance Award” in recognition of “Sustained High Quality Performance”.

Lois had a very active life: traveled the world, snow skied until 91, loved to dance, golf, volunteer, and watch her beloved Colorado Rockies baseball team.

Lois was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband John Watt, son Bill Bisbee, Bill’s father William Bisbee, and her step-mother Hazel Heaberlin.

Lois is survived by her daughter-in-law Rhonda Faith Bisbee of Ignacio CO; grandson Trevor Isaac Bisbee of Piedmont, South Carolina; granddaughter Camille Madeline Bisbee, Ignacio CO; one great grandchild.

“A Celebration of life “ was held on her 100th Birthday the day after she passed at Covenant Living of Colorado.

Lois’s ashes will be spread in private, on a snowy day in the mountains by her very dear friends Gwen and Kent Shepherd from Leadville CO.
