Sarah Farley

Jul 3, 1955 — Jul 7, 2026

Sarah A. Farley (nee Schuman) of Arvada, Colorado passed away July 7, 2026 at the age of 71. Born and raised in Costa Mesa, California, Sarah sampled several Western US cities before permanently landing in her forever home of Colorado. Excelling as a department Manager at Sears and Roebuck for 15 years, also brought her together with the love of her life, surviving husband Christopher. She loved Chris so much that she could be found by his side for the vast majority of his sports watching! Their beautiful peas and carrot love affair and marriage lasted 44 years and brought her only child and second love of her life, surviving daughter Rebecca Morris.

Sarah successfully pivoted herself to working at Lutheran Home Healthcare where she became quick friends with technology. As a natural creative force, Sarah could be often found engaging in many creative endeavors: painting, ceramics, gardening and cooking to name a few. In 2007 Sarah combined her vast experience in retailing with her creative spirit and purchased Cosmo’s, a specialty dog supply boutique and bakery. She joyfully and diligently treated every pet as her own. Chris joined the bakery, furthering being by her side in every way. Studying the scientific benefits of CBD, Sarah’s entrepreneurial interest once again peaked. She quickly grew a new company, Earth Buddy. Effectively, she offered a vast array of products to improve and extend the lives of countless pets. Again, Chris contributed by her side.

It was during this time that Becca’s marriage brought two bright and lovely surviving grandchildren, Davin Morris and Demi Morris. The marriage also brought a third surviving grandchild Lilianne Morris or, as Sarah called her, Angel Face. It was during this time that Sarah got serious about retirement so she and Chris could enjoy their expanded family, as well as their love of RV camping (where Sarah was renowned for her spectacular campfires), hiking, entertaining, political involvement, attending live music events and being prominent patrons at the Arvada Center.

Sarah was beloved for her breezy spirit, affable creative nature, quick wit, fierce loyalty, calm during a storm, kindness, caring, tolerance, acceptance, selflessness and so much more.
