Christine Marie Pickering

Christine Marie Pickering, 70, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026, in her home with family by her side.

Born on April 29, 1956, in Kirkwood, St. Louis, Missouri, Christine was the daughter of Arlene and Vernon Craycraft. She received her nursing degree from Lakes Region Community College and earned her RN. From there she worked as a charge nurse and preceptor. She was dedicated to her patients and put their care first.

Beyond her professional life, Christine found joy in gardening, reading, cooking, live music, and quiet evenings with her husband. She appreciated a good sense of humor and knew when to drop a comedic quote or inside joke.

Christine was devoted to her family. She was a loving wife and mother, and her favorite family adventures usually involved fireworks and traveling for vacations.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; her children Clinton, Patrick, and Andrea; her brothers Steve and Brian; her sisters Kathryn and Margaret; her six grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.
