Emily Elizabeth Shay

Preceded in death by her mother, Wilda Shay of Hominy; grandparents, Cleo Pat Shay and Emily Shay of Hominy; uncles, Gary Shay of Hominy; and her sweet kitty, Num Num. Though life kept them apart, her love for her biological children, Brett and Amelia, remained deep and constant. Emily is survived by her close friends Mallory Martin, Alyssa Mayer, and Will Murray, along with extended family and cousins throughout Hominy and Tulsa. Emily had a truly tender heart and was always willing to go to great lengths for the people she loved. She brought creativity into the world through her crafting, doing hair, and nails, and loved nothing more than a good shopping trip. Her spirit will remain with those who knew her well through music—driving around for hours, listening to music, or taking a trip to the casinos. May she finally rest in peace; she leaves behind a legacy of love and will be missed by so many. "Although Emily had several furry friends, her dog Diesel was her last true love and companion.
