SGM William Victor Neil Jr. U.S. Army (Ret.)

William Victor Neil Jr., lovingly known by family and friends as William, passed away on May 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, strength, and service. He was a devoted father, grandfather, beloved son, cherished fiancé, and loyal friend whose presence touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

William proudly served his country for 22 years in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of Sergeant Major. His dedication, leadership, and sacrifice reflected the honor and integrity with which he lived his life every day. He carried his commitment to serving others not only in uniform, but also within his home and community.

Above all else, William loved his family. He was a proud father to his six children, who were the center of his world. Whether gathered around the dinner table enjoying one of his smoked meats, spending long days fishing, or simply sharing laughter together, William created memories that his family will cherish forever.

Known for his humor, kindness, and caring heart, William had a way of making people feel welcome and loved. He could light up a room with his jokes and steady presence, and he never hesitated to help someone in need. His strength was matched only by his compassion.

William is survived by his six children, 4 grandchildren, his loving mother, his devoted fiancé, his brother and sister, along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will deeply miss him.

Though he is gone from this earth, the love, wisdom, and memories he gave to those around him will live on forever. His family finds comfort in knowing that his legacy of loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love will never be forgotten.

Service will be held on May 28th, 2026, with a viewing beginning at 11 am, and funeral services will start at 2 pm at All Veterans Memorial Funeral and Cremation. We hope you can join us in celebrating our Father’s life and honor him the best way we can.
