Allen Edmund Roy Talk Iii

Mar 19, 1983 — Aug 17, 2025

Allen Edmund Roy Talk III, lovingly known by all as “Eddie,” passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 42. Born and raised in Harris County, Texas, Eddie was living in Lakewood, Colorado, at the time of his passing. He will always be remembered for his humor, kindness, and the joy he brought into the lives of those who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Alyssa Stansell; his mother, Denise Thebeault; his father, Allen Talk Jr.; his sister, Sarah Boggs; and his many friends who were all lights in his life.

He joins his brother, Adam Boggs; grandfather, Hank Thebeault; grandmother, Darleen “Nina” Thebeault; and stepfather, Jack Boggs. Eddie’s memory will live on in the hearts of countless friends and family members who were lucky enough to know him.

Ed made the best of the hand he was dealt in life. He was the only one of his siblings to graduate high school and went on to proudly serve his country as a U.S. Navy veteran aboard the USS Boxer from 2002 to 2007. After his service, he embraced life with energy and laughter.

He loved food, gaming, and traveling. As a kid, he often invited friends over on weekends to build the biggest bonfire he could. A lifelong gamer, Eddie spent hours—sometimes days or even weeks—immersed in new worlds in his black-walled, blue-trimmed room covered in blacklight posters. He’d devour an entire New York-style pizza while blasting headbanging music loud enough that his family—and the neighbors—had no choice but to jam along.

~Pantera - Cemetery Gates~

"Through all those complex years

I thought I was alone

I didn't care to look around

And make this world my own

And when you died, I should've cried

And spared myself some pain

You left us incomplete

All alone as the memories still remain"

This spirit carried into his adult life. Eddie was simple, private, and happiest when surrounded by loved ones. Whether it was a beach trip or a backyard barbecue, he loved gathering people together and showing off his grilling skills, always eager for feedback.

His goofy, lighthearted nature could brighten any room. Eddie’s warm chuckle and signature expressions brought smiles to countless faces. Friends will remember his iconic “Ayyyee” (with an arched eyebrow and crooked grin) and his playful, “What the French, toast?”

Eddie’s story is one of service, laughter, and love. Though his time here ended too soon, his legacy will continue to inspire smiles, warmth, and laughter for years to come. He will be deeply missed but remember "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday."

His services will be held on Saturday September 27, 2025 at 7pm (EST) via Facebook Private Live. Please message his sister Sarah Boggs to be included. (Contact Information: (765)620-6708 \ email: [email protected])
