David Morrison

David Lee Morrison passed away July 30, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born March 17, 1947, to Wayne and Ethel Morrison. He graduated from Brighton High, joined the Navy & traveled the world on an aircraft carrier. He returned to Brighton & was a volunteer fireman for 20 yrs. He also worked at United Power and then a fire fighter for DOD. In 1991 he married Penny Getz and lived on the family farm for years and he loved it. In 2004 he retired form DOD as fire chief at Buckley Air Force Base. Dave and Penny traveled throughout the world and had many adventures. Dave is survived by his wife Penny, sister sandy many nieces and nephews and devoted friends. He will be deeply missed.
