Donna Cook-Morreim

Donna Cook/Morreim, 85, of Denver, Colorado passed Monday, March 23, 2020. Donna was born to Morris Torreson, and Bertha, January 24, 1935 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Donna worked at Deloitte, Haskins, and Sells over 30 years. Donna is survived by 3 children : Jeanenne and Arthur Lucero, Corrine and Kenneth James, and Lynette Hoschouer. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren, several great grand, and several great great grandchildren. Donna also is survived by her 2 sisters Beverly and Gail along with other nieces and nephews and cousins that will all miss her very much. We mourn the loss of a woman that made us laugh, held us when we needed to feel secure, gave us advice that we should have taken but most of all she gave us love unconditionally. When she would walk in a room all heads would turn her presence demanded your attention. She was a strong, confident woman who was beautiful inside and out. Donna was stubborn and she was a fighter, she fought for what she wanted, what she felt was right and taught her girls the same strength to face what was in front of us. Mom we will miss you each and every day, there will always be a sadness you’re gonna and a tear to show how much you are missed. Your heart was giving, your words were of wisdom, and your hands taught us discipline. Tall and beautiful you stood out from the rest. If we could have one more day, only one more. We would pick up the phone and tell you we love you. Thank you for loving us unconditionally and thank you for all your help. If we could have one more day we would pray heaven is everything you dreamt it to be. We all pray you’re safe and free from pain and that you are with loved ones. I pray you have heard these words and know forever and always you are loved, be safe till we meet again.
