May 26, 1953 – January 19, 2025

Gail Elaine French, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on May 26, 1953, in Lafayette, Indiana, Gail was the cherished daughter of Margaret Christopher and Don(deceased), and a proud graduate of Wabash High School.

In the late 1970s, Gail moved to California with her devoted husband, Chris French, and their young son, Raymon. A few years later, the family relocated to Denver, Colorado, where Gail would spend nearly four decades as a dedicated employee of Cobe Laboratory(Terumbo), earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues as well as an Assocites degree and then a Bachelores Degree.

Gail’s life was marked by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering generosity. A caring  wife to Chris French for over 40 years, Gail also embraced her role as a loving mother to her son Ray French(Karin) and three cherished daughters, Stacey Burk (Shawn), Kristen French, and Natalie French. She adored her 9 grandchildren, Dylan, Bryce, Blake, Keegan, Paxton, Zoe, Riley, Reagan, Mackenzie, her two great grandchildren Ophelia and Ferguson and soon to be Great Grand daughter Scotty-Mae. Her family was her greatest joy, and she welcomed every moment of motherhood with grace and gratitude.

Gail’s compassion extended far beyond her family. She had a heart for animals, particularly dogs, and her home was always open to four-legged companions in need. She was also a pillar of kindness and charity in her community, leaving a legacy of selflessness that will be remembered by all who knew her.

Gail will be deeply missed by her husband Chris, her children Ray (Karin), Stacey (Shawn), Kristen, and Natalie, her grand children, great grand children, family as well as the many friends, neighbors, and furry companions who were touched by her presence.

A celebration of Gail’s life will be held in her honor, at Lakewood Vineyard, 6800 Hampden Avenue on February 8th at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a local animal shelter or charity of your choice, in recognition of Gail’s enduring love for animals. https://lakewoodvineyard.org/

Gail French lived a life defined by love, kindness, and quiet strength. Though she is no longer with us, her light and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
