Irma Lurline Campbell Haggard

Irma Lurline Campbell Haggard, long time resident of Northglenn, died February 15, 2026. She was 100 years old. She was active throughout her life; including basketball and track in high school and junior college and golf, skiing and bowling after moving to Colorado in the fall of 1969.

She was born December 28, 1925 in East Fork, Miss. to Luther and Cornie Campbell. Irma was the last of her 6 siblings to pass.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. “Doc” Haggard Jr. whom she had married on September 12, 1947. She is survived by her three children (and spouses); two sons, Robert A. III of Allen, Texas (Cindy), Gary D. of Lakeway, Texas (Kay) and a daughter, Martha Ferraro of Parker (Mike); 7 grand children; Darrell, Sarah, Ann, Eric, Kate, Brandon, Mary and 12 great grand children.

Services will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church in Lakewood on March 7th at 1:00 pm.

Irma made donations to Denver Rescue Mission, Easter Seals and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to one of these charities.
