Marcy Leo Romero

Mr. Marcy Leo Romero age 48, of Westminster CO passed away Monday February 12th at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafyette CO. Born to Juan and Rose Romero of Capulin CO. Marcy was the youngest of of nine brothers and sisters. Marcy attended Centauri High school in La Jara CO. Marcy met wife Jessica in July of 2003, they welcomed thier son James in to the world May 2006. As a very close family they spent every moment they could doing the things they loved. James was Marcys pride and joy. After twenty years Marcy and Jessica officialy tied the Knott on July 5th 2023. Mr. Romero worked construction as well as a flooring installer in his teens and young adult life. He later on worked for Adam's State university as a custodian for over ten years. During this time he also ran his own business "MR Carpet cleaning". He then moved to Westminster CO and work at Jefferson Academy Elementary. Working with his JA family was a true passion of his. Marcy brought light to all those around him, whether you just met him or knew him for years. He always took time to check in on those and bring a smile to anyone. Marcy is survived by his wife Jessica Vasquez, son James Romero, sisters Lilian (Lary), Eloisa, Darline (Jim), brothers Gil (Theresa), Tony (Val), and Eloy (Jovita) Nieces Karen, Stephanie, Deviny, Marissa and Alexus. Nephews GR, Jordan, Tony Jr. Treven and Dillon. With many other cousins, aunts, uncles and loved ones. Marcy is proceeded in death by his parents Juan and Rose Romero, brothers Eloy, Floyd and Jonny Romero. Celebration of life will be held for Marcy, March 2nd 2024 at 11am, reception to follow at: Westminster Christain church, 3575 W 96th Ave. Westminster Co 80031 Flowers may be sent to church.
