**Obituary for Virginia "Ginger" Eloise Acevedo** Virginia "Ginger" Eloise Acevedo, born on September 23, 1947, in Raton, New Mexico, left this world on November 25, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado. Ginger, known for her sassy wit and vibrant spirit, could light up a room just with her infectious smile and laughter. A devoted mother, she poured her heart into her family, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be cherished by her daughter, Monica Espino, and son-in-law, Francisco Espino. Ginger was not just a mother but a fabulous grandmother to her four grandchildren: Dylan Ray Thomsen, Faythe Moore, Kaitlyn Moore, and Isaiah Moore, who adored her fierce love. Ginger's vivacious personality was matched only by her unmatched generosity and curiosity. She pursued her passions with a headstrong determination that inspired those around her. Whether she was crocheting a cozy blanket, knitting a precious gift, or indulging in her love of food and cinema, she embraced every moment with enthusiasm. Her education at the New Mexico School for the Deaf laid the foundation for a remarkable life filled with cherished friendships—friends she considered family, with whom she shared countless joyous meetings. Ginger's loyalty and kindness were felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her. In her later years, she created a loving home in Aurora, Colorado, where her laughter echoed through the halls. Ginger loved life and her spirited nature will be profoundly missed by everyone.

While Ginger has now joined her beloved mother, Odella Ruiz Medina, father, Eugene Acevedo, and siblings, Michael Acevedo, Patricia Coleman, and John Acevedo in death, her memory remains in the hearts of all who loved her.
