William James Tadlock

William James “Bill” Tadlock, 81, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, hard work, and devotion to his family.

Bill was born on September 29, 1944, in Colorado to Anne Lee Harris (Suther) and James Harris. He was raised in the Denver area and attended Godsman Elementary School, Kepner Middle School, and Lincoln High School.

From 1963 to 1965, Bill proudly served his country by joining the United States Navy, where he held the rank of Seaman E-1. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic and held a variety of jobs, including working in the oil fields, on a tuna boat, and later as an owner-operator truck driver with JB Hunt Trucking. Bill had a love and passion for motorcycles, enjoying the freedom of the open road and the camaraderie of fellow riders. He was also a devoted believer in Jesus and carried his faith with him throughout his life. 

He is survived by his children, Gerald Thomas Tadlock, Leslie Leeann Tadlock, Jaime Guillermo Escobar, and Cindy Michelle Tadlock Escobar. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Karolyn Murray, Sharon Lee, and Gladys Tadlock, and is also survived by his siblings, Anne Miller and Adrian Tadlock. Bill was a proud grandfather to Shaydn Harley Tadlock, Christina Tadlock, Lindy Tadlock, Thomas Alan Tadlock, Jeremiah Isaiah Tadlock, Sophia Deloyce Estelle Tadlock, and Gareth Vangerlderen Tadlock.

A committal service with Full Military Honors will be held on Thursday, March 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, staging area White.

Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
