Jean L. Rathgeber

Jean L. Rathgeber, nee Orr, age 87, passed away at her residence July 3, 2019 in Bullhead City, Arizona. She was born on May 25, 1932, in Denver, Colorado, to Lee J. and Laura L. Orr. She grew up in Denver, Colorado and lived in Deer Park, Texas; Joliet, Illinois, for many years in Cedaredge, Colorado and several years in Delta, Colorado; before having recently moved to Arizona to be near her daughter. She was a homemaker and enjoyed listening and dancing at the Trocadero Ballroom at Elitch Gardens to the music of the big band era, singing to piano music, avid reading, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, playing solitaire, and casinos. She will always be loved and remembered for her quick wit. Preceding her in death were her husband Harold, her parents, and her sister Shirley Hinkle. She is survived by her daughter, Krista (Greg) Bradford of Fort Mohave, Arizona; son Steven (Julie) Fischel of Portland, Oregon; her brother Bob (Judy) Orr of Littleton, Colorado; granddaughter, Jennifer (Jon) Uhouse of Concord, New Hampshire; great-granddaughter, Blair Uhouse, and her nieces and nephews. Jean will be dearly missed by her family and her friends. According to Jean's wishes, no service will be held.
