She officially retired after these experiences. Mary and Newton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows at Hilltop Four Square Church in Kingman, Arizona, on September 5, 2015, surrounded by their children, family, and friends, with Pastor Norm Taylor officiating.
