Audrey Louise Tidrow

Tidrow, Audrey Louise (Zeiser) saw the first light of day on September 5, 1918 in St. Louis, MO where she was born. Her family built a new home in Webster Groves, MO and she lived there until she graduated from high school and entered Missouri University. In her second year there, she met Alvin Tidrow and after a short courtship, accepted his proposal of marriage. She dropped out of the university in her third year and was married on May 29, 1939. WW II caused more moving until she finally settled in Detroit, MI. She had born two children, a boy Raymond and a girl Jerry Sue. She lost Jerry Sue to meningitis. She then gave birth to a boy, Ronald. She worked with the local school district as a stenographer. When her husband retired, she moved to Florida in 1970. She traveled the world but always turned her talents to art. This was the work she really wanted to do.
