Betty J. Russell

Betty J. Russell , 94 , of St.Petersburg , Florida passed away December 12, 2019 peacefully at home in St. Petersburg , Florida . She was born on November 1, 1925 in Lima , Ohio. Betty graduated St. Rita's Hospital as a registered nurse. She retired from Freedom Square Skilled Nursing as a supervisor. She was a member at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and Alter Guild. Betty loved needle point and spending quality time with her family. She was preceded in death by her loving Husband, William John Russell, and sons Douglas Russell, William Russell Jr., Richard Russell, and Daughter Pam Sheppard. Betty is survived by her children Debbie Sparling, Dennis Russell, Jacqueline Russell, Theresa Crouse, Barbara Rigali, Mary Edmands, David Russell, Laura King, Donald Russell, John Russell, Cathy Barkley, and James Russell, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Reese Funeral Home 6767 Seminole Blvd Seminole Florida on Monday December 16, 2019 from 7:00PM - 9:00PM Funeral services will be at Blessed Sacrament 11565 66th Ave N, Seminole, FL 33772 on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at 10:00AM with Father Gordon officiating. In, lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
