Edward Thomas Foley

FOLEY, Ed 84, passed away Thursday, May 12th 2016. Born in Jamaica, New York, Ed spent the majority of his life in the Largo/Seminole area. He was the son of William and Mary Foley. Ed was an educator, teaching a total of 40 years The 1st 13 years in Newport, RI, the last 27 years at SPHS where he was named Teacher of the Year in 1988. He was a member of the US Army, serving in the Korean War. Survivors include his wife Barbara, 5 children: Victoria, Mary, Ed Jr., Debra, and Bill, and siblings Patricia, Genevieve, and Brother Brendan. Ed also left behind 8 wonderful grandchildren.
