Frank Meola

Frank Meola, age 87, passed away after a brief stay at Hospice Care Center in Pinellas Park, FL in the early hours of Saturday, October 1st. He was born at home in North Arlington, New Jersey on August 24,1929 as the seventh child of Raffaele and Maria Meola. He married Mary Ann Gessling on February 12, 1961 in New Jersey. They moved with their two children to Seminole, FL in 1978. He was preceded in death by Mary Ann in 1988. He married longtime family friend B. Beatrice Easterling in 1989. Frank is survived by his wife B. Beatrice, his son Frank (Mary Ann); daughter Donna Meola; grandchildren Jacqueline, Paul, Peter, Maria, and Tony Meola. He is also survived by a sister Josephine Marciano (North Carolina), and many nieces and nephews. Frank was the owner of Forma Tool and Mold in Largo, FL until he retired in 1996. He enjoyed gardening at his home in Seminole and sharing his bounty of vegetables with neighbors and family. He also enjoyed cooking and sharing his Italian recipes with his family. Frank and Bea enjoyed cruises to Europe in their retirement. A graveside service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5233 118th Ave. N., Clearwater, FL., on Friday, October 14th at 3pm. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the home of Frank and Mary Ann Meola immediately following the service.
