Helen M. Zabriskie

Zabriskie, Helen M., of Pinellas Park, FL passed on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 18, 1922, she came to Florida in 1974 from Madison, CT where she served as President of the Women's Club for years. She was predeceased in 1988 by her husband of 46 years, Clinton Forsyth Zabriskie. She is survived by her brother, Donald P. Miller (Miriam McDermott) of Arlington, VA; four children, Lynn Richard of Pinellas Park, Susan Martinez of Clinton, CT, Donald Zabriskie of Pinellas Park, and Patricia Zabriskie of Gainesville, FL; six grandchildren, John Richard (Ann) of Canton, GA, Rafael Martinez (Jenn) of Essex, CT, Josefa Martinez-Brockman (Anthony) of Hamden, CT, James Martinez (Charisse) of Charlton, MA, Jennifer Bakken (Scott) of Bremerton, WA, and Pamela Smith (Blaine) of Bremerton, WA.; nine great grandchildren and a 10th due in April. She also has a nephew, Peter Miller (Stephanie) of Seattle, WA and a niece, Ellen Flynn (Rob) of Arlington, VA. Helen was a lifelong Christian Scientist and a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Seminole. She was much loved and lived a life filled with joy and gratitude. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
