James K. Combs

Combs, James K. "Jim", 67, of Seminole, passed away at his home on Saturday April 12, 2014. He was born in Cincinnati, OH in 1946. Jim was preceded in death by his parents James T. and Zinnia L. Combs. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra; 2 daughters, Cassandra Combs and Samantha (John) Stepaniak, and grandson, Zachary of FL; his sister, Linda (Tim) Kirby of OH; 4 nieces, Leah Honeywell and her son Luke of OH; Jamie (Mark) Maynor and their sons, Brandon & Stephen of FL; Holly (Don) Webb & their children, Jake & Mackenzie of FL; and Lindsey (John) McIntire and their daughter, Megan of OH; 2 nephews, Mark (Danika) Cushen and their children, Maggie & Reid of OR; and Ben (Tracey) Reed and their daughter Sosie of TN; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Wilma Reed of FL; his sister-in-law, Paula (Butch) West of FL; and his brother-in-law, Walter (Judy) Reed of OH. Jim worked at Huffy Bicycles for 9 years at the beginning of his business career and then he began a 29 year career with Dayco Products, Inc., where he was the Eastern and Western Sales Manager, Vice President of Marketing Services and Director of Communications. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and we will miss him every day. Dr. A. Dewey Sanders, uncle to Sandra will be officiating at the memorial service to be held at Reese Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
