Leigh Short

Leigh Short, age 77 of Seminole, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boone, NC, on September 24, 1938 to the late Burnice Eugene Wilson and the late Ruth Vivian Carter, she was married to Robert E. Short until his passing. Leigh was a member of Advent Christian Church in Boone, NC. Leigh is survived by her companion of 20 years, Paul Meyer (Happy); Daughter, Victoria Leigh Acred and husband, Terry J. Acred; Granddaughter, Jaclyn Cannon and husband, James Cannon; Grandson, Robert Palmer and his wife, Kristina Palmer; and Great Grandchildren, Layne Cannon, Sarah Cannon, and two on the way. Leigh was predeceased by her son, Robert B. Inman. There will Memorial Service at Advent Christian Church in Boone, NC.
