Robert L. Barnes

Dr. Rev. Robert L. Barnes, 79, of Seminole, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he was a son of the late LaRue and Beaulah Barnes. He was a Pastor and Missionary for over 20 years. In addition to his role as Pastor, he provided outreach assistance in many ways to the communities he served both here and abroad. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris "Dorrie" Barnes; his two sons, Timothy (Pam) Barnes, Nathan (Deanna) Barnes; five grandchildren, Sean, Danielle, Travis Blake, Jessica, and Paul; three great grandchildren, Myles, Lily, and Josiah. A Memorial service will be held at Bayridge Baptist Church on Tuesday April 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
