DEANNA J. LUONGO

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Deanna Jenny Luongo, age 83, of Palm Bay, Florida, formerly of Wakefield, Mass., who passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Deanna was born in Revere, Massachusetts, on March 24, 1943, to Thomas M. Aucella and Mary (Chrisafi) Aucella. She was called 'baby' by her loving sisters Dorris Hanlon, Della Highfield, and Delores Henderson, whom she loved greatly.

Known affectionately as “Nonnie” by so many who loved her, Deanna’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her family. She shared six beloved children with their father, Anthony T. Luongo, and was a cherished grandmother to eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her love, guidance, and unwavering devotion to her family created a legacy that will continue for generations.

Deanna will be remembered for her welcoming Sunday dinners, where family and friends gathered to share laughter, stories, and delicious meals. She was known for her warm smile, kind heart, quick wit, and her lifelong love of Elvis Presley. Her presence brought comfort, joy, and a sense of togetherness to all who knew her.

Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the love and countless memories she gave them.

A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. Details will be shared with family and friends as they become available.
