In Loving Memory of

Jo-Ann Alers, 62, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

A native New Yorker, she was born on May 3, 1963, to Puerto Rican parents, Angelo and Carmina Alers.

Jo-Ann later made Florida her home, where she lived for more than 30 years and built a life full of laughter, resilience, and her unmistakable New York spirit.

Jo-Ann was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, titi, cousin, friend, and neighbor.

She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Matthew and Christian, who were the center of her world. Her family and friends will forever cherish her tenacious spirit, sharp sense of humor, and deep love for those dearest to her.

May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

In accordance with her wishes, Jo-Ann was cremated.
