Michael Branca, Jr.

Michael "Mike" Branca, Jr. 85, of Melbourne Beach, Florida passed away September 14, 2026 in Rockledge, Florida. He was born on May 5, 1941 in Norristown, Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Louise (Salamone) Branca, Sr..

Mike was a prolific athlete who was a captain of the undefeated 1957 Norristown high school football team and earned a scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania Wharton school of business where he played varsity football for 3 years and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. It was there that he met his wife Jean who he was happily married to for 60 years.

Mike worked for Standard Register as a successful salesman being apart of the 100 plus club 15 times, working out of Wilmington Delaware. He was a great handyman who loved working on houses and various construction projects in his spare time having owned, repaired and sold multiple properties in his life. 

Mike was a social butterfly with a great sense of humor who loved meeting new people and inviting family and strangers into his home for meals and conversations and loved cooking and eating Italian food, in particular his famous homemade Pasta fagioli and Meatballs.

Mike’s most important legacy was his unwavering relationship with his savior Jesus and was an avid student of the Bible, spending 50+ years leading men’s Bible studies where he helped mentor hundreds of individuals throughout his life. 

Mike’s humor, godly wisdom and selfless servant like impact on those around him, will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His remarkable life will forever be an inspiration, a testament to the power of a man with indomitable spirit, whose life was transformed, saved and redeemed through his faith in Jesus Christ.

Mike is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Ann Ksiazek (Edward) and Keri Lyn Keen (Timothy); four grandchildren, Jarrett and Lance Ksiazek and Tyler(Kiersten) and Bryce Keen(Juliette); brother, Salvatore Branca (Patsy), sister, Anita Davis (Steve).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Branca and his parents.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 19th at Rock Harbor Church, 1805 Oak Street, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951 with Pastor Kevin Diamond officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rock Harbor Church.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
