Michael T. Giangreco

Michael T. Giangreco, 84, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, in Melbourne, Florida. He was born on May 20, 1941, in Manhattan, New York to Rofrano and Philomena (née Bruno) Giangreco.

Michael married the love of his life, Shirley (née Dunlap), on November 25, 1967, in Oklahoma. Together they built a loving home and raised five children in Catoosa.

Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed coin collecting, spending time with his family, and especially spoiling his grandchildren. In his retirement years, he made his home in Florida, where he formed many lasting friendships and enjoyed the company of those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Shirley Giangreco; and his daughter, Lisa Rea. He is survived by his sons: Kevin Giangreco and wife Becky; Randy Giangreco and wife Sue; Eric Giangreco and wife Mary; and Michael Giangreco and wife Barbara. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Kyle Giangreco, Debra Havice and husband Josh, Staci Hodnett and husband Nick, Randi Giangreco, Zachary Trammel, Gabriel Giangreco, Isabella Giangreco and Jacob Giangreco; along with six great-grandchildren. Michael is also survived by his sister, Joanie Sansone; his niece, Cindy Chiarello and husband Robert; his nephew, Ronnie Sansone; and numerous cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

Michael will be remembered for his humorous stories and generous nature. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
