Omie Mae Weeks, lovingly known to family and friends as "Memaw," passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, in Melbourne, Florida, at the age of 89.

Born on August 23, 1936, in Greene, Virginia, Omie lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. She was a God-fearing woman whose love for the Lord guided her throughout her life. Her kindness, strength, and devotion to her family left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Omie was born, raised, and spent most of her life in Virginia. She dedicated many years of service to the Fairfax County Virginia School System before retiring. In 2013, she and her beloved husband relocated to Melbourne, Florida, where they enjoyed being closer to younger family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Weeks; her parents, Ralph E. Williams and Myrtle V. Williams; her sisters, Mary V. Smith and Ruby B. Antes; and her daughters, Wanda L. Morris and Patricia W. Neuffer.

Omie is survived by her sister, Audrey Ange; her daughter, Debra J. Weeks; her grandchildren, Marti Fernandez, Jack Hisey, Jr., James A. Morris, Natalie Raasch, and Andrea Neuffer; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who loved her deeply and will forever cherish the time they shared with her.

Omie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered until the day her family is reunited with her in God's eternal kingdom.
