Suzanne Ellen Salter, 40, of Merritt Island, Florida left this earth to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday July 12, 2026.
Born on March, 19, 1986 in Frederick, Maryland. Suzanne had suffered with cancer for 5 years and had fought a good, brave fight with no complaining. Although her life was too short, she left a legacy of compassion that touched many lives. She was devoted to family and friends and will be remembered for kindness, generosity, strength, and unwavering love.
Suzanne is survived by her loving husband Gabe and their precious daughter Vivien; her parents Brian “Buddy” (Nancy) Evans and Ruth (Floyd) Grimes; brothers and sisters, Brian Evans, Julie (Joseph) Robinson, Matthew (Kendra) Evans, Holly (Houston) Yoro, Sarah Peace (sister-in-law), and Nick Clark (step-sibling). Suzanne is also survived by her close nieces and nephews, Kerstin (Colton), Isaiah, Hannah (Nick), Natalie, Deja, Moriah, Lexi (Jeff), Elysia, Merm, Cole, Issac, Talea, Mary, and great nephew little Zion. She was adored by her aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Hope Evans and Mary Doody.Suzanne was a devoted nanny who lovingly cared for the Rickabaugh children, Colty and Kinley along with their many pets.
She enjoyed time being a home maker and home schooling her daughter Vivien. Suzanne found joy in family gatherings, annual Christmas cookie baking, making sourdough bread, and taking road trips to Maryland. A few of her traditions were black Friday shopping, thrifting, and creating Halloween costumes for her family. Above all, her greatest blessing was the time spent with family and those she loved.The family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time. Suzanne’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of her life will be held on July 29, 2026, 11am at Calvary Chapel Eau Gallie, located at 1591 Highland Ave., Melbourne, Florida 32935.“Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:23
