Timothy Matthew Daily

May 10, 1965 — Jul 10, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Timothy Daily, who passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026 at the age of 61.

Born on May 10, 1965 in Tuscumbia, Alabama, he eventually moved to Huntingtown, Maryland. Tim built a successful career as an Elevator Technician for IUEC Local 10 and Otis Elevator in Washington, DC, a career he truly loved.

Tim lived a life marked by courage, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS America (CV-66), carrying that same sense of duty and strength throughout his life.

Tim is survived by his Wife, Traci Daily, his two Children, Matthew Daily of Tampa, Florida and Samantha Daily of Berlin, Maryland. He is also survived by his Father, Garvin Daily of Florence Alabama and one Sister, Pamela Curry (Tim) of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, three nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Tim was preceded in death by his Mother, Wanda H. Daily.

Above all else, Tim was a devoted husband. He shared a deep and lasting love with his Wife, Traci, whose steadfast care and companionship sustained him throughout his long illness. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and treasured memories.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his strong resilience, his sense of humor (Mr. Happy), and the compassion he showed to others. Even during life’s greatest challenges, he faced each day with remarkable courage and dignity.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and love to the Hobbs' Family who’s love and support was beyond all other.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20th, 2026 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Melbourne Chapel. A viewing and visitation will take place at the funeral home the hour prior to the service. "Tim will be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 22nd at 9:30 a.m."

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project Fund in Tim’s honor.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his suffering has ended. His love, strength, and gentle spirit will remain with us always, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
