Vincent Deraco

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Vincent Joseph Deraco, who passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 89.

Vincent was born on October 5, 1936, in Endicott, New York. He lived a long and meaningful life centered on family, friendship, and the simple joys that brought him happiness.

He was the devoted husband of Josephine Deraco, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage. Together they built a loving family and created countless cherished memories.

Vincent was a proud and loving father to his daughters, Linda Kelly and Donna Burke. He was also a devoted grandfather to his beloved granddaughter, Angelina Burke, who brought him great joy.

Vincent proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War as a Patternmaker Third Class (PM3). He carried the values of duty, honor, and dedication throughout his life and was deeply proud of his military service.

After his military service, Vincent devoted himself to his family and career while maintaining a lifelong love of bowling and spending time with those he cherished most.

He will be remembered for his kindness, strength, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family.

After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Vincent passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew him.

Though he is no longer with us, Vincent's love, guidance, and presence will remain in the hearts of his family forever.

Vincent will be laid to rest with military honors at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on June 4, 2026, a fitting tribute to his faithful service to his country.
