William James Mauro

William James "Billy" Mauro, aged 64, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026.

Born on August 8, 1961, in Copiague, New York, he was the cherished son of the late Rose Marie De Lucia and William J. Mauro.

Billy dedicated his life to hard work and was fiercely committed to providing for his daughter. Known for his deep love for God, his hilarious personality, and the funny sounds that brought laughter to those around him, Billy had a vibrant spirit that left a lasting impression. He held a profound love for all animals and possessed an eternal devotion to his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Krystal Raye Mauro. He is also survived by his former wife and the mother of his daughter, Deborah Mauro, with whom he shared over 40 years and a lifelong commitment to raising their daughter. Billy leaves behind his sister, Cathy Falci, and his brother, Steven Mauro.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Rose Marie De Lucia and William J. Mauro, as well as his beloved brother, Robert Mauro.
