William Peter Piper

In Loving Memory of

William “Bill” Piper, age 82 of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida formerly of Yorktown, VA passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025 with his family close by. 

Born in 1943, Bill lived a life full of love, family and devotion to God. His bright blue eyes, infectious smile, kind sense of humor and fierce loyalty touched the lives of all who knew him. He found joy in simple pleasures and cherished his loved ones deeply, He was full of ambition and curiosity throughout all his days.

Bill finished his diverse career in service to the U.S. Dept of Defense where he retired after 16 years. He enjoyed traveling in his RV, cruising the world with his loving wife, Shirley, of 58 years, and volunteering through the church in service of others. 

 Bill will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends and all whose lives he graced. May he rest in peace. A Celebration of Life is being held Saturday November 15th, 10:00 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 105 W Hibiscus Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be in the form of non- perishable food or monetary donation to St. Pauls’s Lutheran Church Outreach in Christ Ministry.
