Carol Eunice Lettsome

Carol Lettsome, 75, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026.

Carol worked for many years as a registered nurse and as a teacher of nursing at Charlotte Amalie High School. She could often be heard singing her favorite church hymns and reading or listening to her Bible. After God, her greatest loves in life were her family and baseball, especially her Chicago Cubs.

Carol is survived by three sons, Deshea, Dwight, and Daron Lettsome, and three daughters-in-law, Tara Lettsome, Jeselle Lettsome and DeNique Jacobs. She was the proud grandmother to seven grandchildren Malik, Deshea, Jaelynn, Jayda, Carter, Ella, and Devin Lettsome. She was aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Iris Hodge and Wilmoth Hodge, her beloved husband, Jacob Lettsome, her brothers, Codrinton Hodge, Clinton Hodge, Clifton Hodge and Canaval Hodge; and her loving Niece, Nedra Cort.

Carol leaves behind her brother Calvit Hodge and loving sisters Mrs. Corina Thomas, Mrs. Caroline Cort, and Mrs. Charlene Mavne. Sisters-in-law, Terri Lynn Hodge, Lorna Lettsome, Valerie Lettsome, Lucia Lettsome, and Elterah Lettsome, and Brother in-law, Recaldo Lettsome.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026; viewing from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., followed by a service at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Rd. SE, Palm Bay, Florida.
