Carol Kyle Gray

Carol Kyle Gray, 71, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 7, 2026. Carol was born on October 14, 1954, in Glasgow, Scotland, to the late James and Mary Hunter.

After moving with her family to live in Canada, then to the United States, Carol married her long-time love, Dan Gray. They established residence in Melbourne, Florida, and then in Palm Bay, Florida, where they lived for 38 years. Carol enjoyed taking walks on the beach with her husband, working in her beautiful yard, going on weekend getaways, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was known for her kind, warm heart and creativity in making unique gifts for her grandsons and other family members.

Carol is survived by her husband, Daniel Gray; her only son, Kyle (Trisha) Heaney; two grandsons, Kaiden and Collin Heaney; stepdaughter, Danielle Gray; two step-grandchildren, Harper Gray and Reggie Stevens; brother, Steven Hunter; niece, Victoria Hunter; great-nephew, Christian Baselice, along with many other extended family and friends who will sadly miss her.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 3rd at 12:00 PM at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Carol's name to Palm House Nursery in Palm Bay for the planting of a palm tree.
