David Daniel

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of David Daniel, age 88, who passed away peacefully in his home on September 20th, 2026.

David left Trinidad at an early age to pursue a better life in the U.S. He worked many jobs during his life and spent many years as a Taxi Driver both in Trinidad and in New York City. He remained close to all his siblings and his mother, whom he would visit in Trinidad many times. As an extended family member, he was also very close with many of his nieces and nephews. David remained very close to his younger brother Herman, as he also made the move to NY at a young age.

David had a unique sense of humor. He was always a troublemaker with a fun-loving spirit, delighting in making others laugh with him. There are many stories he shared with us over the years, relating to some wickedness he did to relatives and friends in his youth. He had a way about him to poke fun at you to the point that even you had to laugh at yourself. You could always count on David to tell you what he really thought of things and give his strong opinions. He had a bright spirit and a righteous heart; he did his best to treat others with as much love and compassion as he could give. David wasn't a man of many soft words, but his love was felt in his actions and all that he did for his loved ones.

The funeral service is scheduled for September 25th, 2026, with an 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. viewing and the service from 12 p.m.- 1 p.m. at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care located at 950 Malabar Rd SE, Palm Bay, Florida. We hope to see his many loved ones come together to celebrate the wonderful person that he was.
