Joan Slagoski (October 15, 1940 - August 24, 2026)

Joan Slagoski, 85, of Ocala, FL, passed away on August 24, 2026. Born to parents Elizabeth and Wallace Fischer on October 15, 1940, in Kenosha, WI. On October 25th, 1958, Joan married the love of her life, Ray Slagoski. Joan worked several jobs, but she found a niche in cleaning homes. During retirement, Joan and Ray moved to Ocala, FL, where they spent 30+ years enjoying life with family and friends in the Oak Bend Community.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Sherri Dehne; sons Todd and Kent Slagoski; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her two kitties, Sweetie Pie and Oreo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Slagoski; parents, Wallace and Elizabeth Fischer; brother, Ronald Fischer; and sister, Shirley Wamboldt.

A Celebration of Life for Joan will be held on 19 September 2026 from 12 PM to 3 PM at the Oakbend Community Center, 2767 SW 106th St, Ocala, FL 34476.
