Monica Rosey Solomon

May 4, 1930 — Jul 23, 2026

Monica Rosey Solomon was born on May 4, 1930, on the beautiful island of Trinidad. She was a woman of unwavering faith, compassion, and quiet strength whose life was devoted to serving God and caring for others.

Monica faithfully served in the healthcare profession for more than fifty years as a nurse in London, England. Throughout her distinguished career, she touched countless lives with her kindness, professionalism, and loving spirit.

In the early 1990s, Monica relocated from New York to Melbourne, Florida, where she made her home for more than thirty years. She became a faithful and dedicated member of the Palm Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she worshiped the Lord and served alongside her church family.

Monica trusted in the Lord with all her heart and soul. Her faith guided every season of her life and was evident in the love she extended to her family, friends, neighbors, and everyone blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Carmen Dalrymple, Anora Augese, and Innocencia Hernandez, and her brother, Reynold Hernandez.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory countless nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, dear friends, and all whose lives were enriched by her love, wisdom, and gentle spirit.

The Dalrymple-Hernandez Family sincerely thanks everyone for your prayers, love, kindness, and support as we celebrate the beautiful life of our beloved Monica. Your presence and expressions of sympathy have been a tremendous blessing during this time.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care for the exceptional compassion, dignity, and care shown to Monica and our family.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her legacy of faith, service, and unconditional love will live on forever in our hearts.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, with a viewing from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., followed by a service at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Rd. SE Palm Bay, Florida.

Rest in Peace, Sister Monica. Well done, good and faithful servant.
