Nancy Lang Wirs

Nancy Lang Wirs, 99, enjoyed her beloved Indian River views up until August 10, 2026 when she peacefully passed at home with Lisa and Linda by her side. Born in Culver City, CA April 29, 1927. Raised in San Francisco and London, Ontario.

In 1947 Nancy met her husband Frank in Philadelphia, PA. They were married for 55 years. Nancy was a homemaker with 3 daughters, Kerrigan Laura, Linda, and Lisa.

The Wirs family moved to Melbourne Beach in 1962.

Nancy leaves behind Linda and Neal Manners and Lisa Ellison. Kerrigan died in 1985, sister Edythe Van Horn predeceased her. She taught her children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren the values she held dear: to be polite, caring, punctual, generous, and to always treat others with the respect they deserve. She believed in being kind while also being honest and never hesitated to tell it like it is. A celebration of life will be at Rhum Cove at a later date.
