William Martin Spicer

Nov 13, 1948 — Aug 29, 2026

“

Billy lived a life marked by service, generosity, humor, and deep devotion to his family and friends.

William “Billy” Martin Spicer, 77, of Rockledge, Florida, went to his eternal peace on August 29, 2026. Born November 13, 1948, in Oswego, New York, Billy lived a life marked by service, generosity, humor, and deep devotion to his family and friends.

Billy served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969 and was a Vietnam War veteran. He later graduated from Barry University and retired from Boeing after more than 30 years.

To those who knew him best, Billy was someone who always showed up and would go out of his way to show he cared. He was extraordinarily generous with his time and resources and was always willing to help family, friends, and even strangers without expecting anything in return. He took tremendous pride in the circle of friends and family he built.

Billy enjoyed spicy food, a good drink, and traveling around the world – but, above all, his greatest pleasure was spending time with the people and pets he loved. His family will remember shared banana splits, post-game and post-show debates and discussions, calls just to say “I love you”, and a stubborn streak that was matched by a deeply sensitive heart.

“

Billy loved with his whole heart, and his love and care for others will remain his legacy.

Billy is survived by his wife, Linda Spicer; daughter and son-in-law, Jaime Lynn and David William Jeffrey; grandson, Grayson William Jeffrey; and sisters, Patricia Patrick, Debbie Spicer, and Kim Castaldo. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Leonard Spicer and Mary Lucille White; stepmother, Elizabeth Spicer; and brother, Dane Spicer.

Billy will be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Thursday, September 10th, 2026 at 1:30 P.M with United States Marines Corp Honors.

Billy loved with his whole heart, and his love and care for others will remain his legacy.
