Gary Jones

 Gary Dee Jones, 78, of St,Petersburg, FL. passed away on October 19th 2025, He was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Jones, brother, Wayne E Jones, and sister, Linda S Jones-Ochs. Gary is survived by his nephew, Wayne J Jones, Niece, Kristen Jones and lifetime family friend, Sharon Cavaleri. Gary served in the Army for 9 years, receiving 2 Bronze Stars for Vietnam Service, a National Defense Medal, as well as a Vietnam Campaign Medal. Gary had such a big heart for animals, and had a special infinite love for his beloved dog (and best friend) Lady. His pure enjoyment was taking Lady for walks around the VA Park, as well as other parks in the St. Petersburg area. A service will be held on December 1st 2025 at the Bay Pines National Cemetary at 2:30pm. If you wish to make a donation, please make it to the Humane Society in Gary's honor.
