Born in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 4, 1929, Ted was a self-made man who devoted his life to his family, his career at Dillard’s, and his beloved wife, Sara, to whom he was married for 70 years. Through his work in retail, he built a successful and fulfilling career marked by dedication, perseverance, and a strong sense of purpose.

Whether spending time with family, enjoying a game, or gathering with friends, Ted brought his unmistakable energy and personality to every occasion.

Ted is survived by his wife, Sara; his daughter, Joanie (Art Sugerman); and his two sons, Mark (Mignon) and Michael (Circy); along with seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
