Betty S. Perdue
January 2, 1924 — March 23, 2015
Perdue, Betty S., age 91, of St. Petersburg, Florida left us peacefully on March 23, 2015. She was born January 2, 1924 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota as Betty Lourayne Swenson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob A. Swenson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lonnie E. Perdue Sr. Betty received her degree as Graduate Nurse from Sioux Valley Hospital School of Nursing in 1945 and spent the majority of her career of caring for others as a Registered Nurse at All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg, Florida. Simple words and sentences can never fully describe her loving, gracious, generous, and selfless nature. Others always came first, and she will be dearly missed. She is survived immediately by daughters, Cheryl Terzenbach, Lonna Landau, and son, Lonnie E. Perdue Jr., two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
