Ellen Mary Dresser Townsend

Townsend, Ellen Mary Dresser, 83, of St. Petersburg, FL, died September 5, 2007, at Fair Oaks ALF. She moved to Florida in 1997 from her native Hampton, VA but spent most of her adult life in Temperanceville, VA. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Townsend Stewart and her spouse Rev. Anne Kopmeier of St. Petersburg, FL; two grandsons, Frank Sarah Stewart and Wade Stewart; one great-grandson, Dmitri Stewart all from Alexandria, VA as well as her beloved caregiver, Terry Nelson. Interment will be in Hampton, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Florida Suncoast.
