Harold Holderith

Harold “Lanny” Holderith, 89, of Florida, passed away on August 21, 2026, in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was born on April 27, 1937, in Newark, New Jersey.

Harold spent his childhood in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, and graduated from the University of Connecticut. In 1962, he moved to Florida in search of better beach weather—a decision that suited his lifelong love of the sunshine and the beach.

Harold enjoyed cheering for the Florida Gators, attending the Gasparilla Parade, and enjoying all that Florida had to offer. Most of all, however, he loved his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ida “Sandy”; his children, Kimber and Alan; his sister, Adrienne; his niece, Noël; his grandchildren, Shaye and Taylor; and his two great-granddaughters, Raina and Holly.

Harold will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him.
