Ivan Thomas Baker

Ivan Thomas Baker Sr., a beloved father, grandfather, companion, and longtime Florida resident, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Ivan was born on March 12, 1946, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Robert Jack Baker and Rosma June Baker. In 1956, he relocated with his family to St. Petersburg, Florida, where he grew up and graduated from Dixie Hollins High School.

Ivan made St. Petersburg his home for many years before moving to Ocala, Florida, in 1998. An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed fishing and hunting and treasured the time he spent outdoors.

Ivan will be remembered for the relationships he formed, the life he lived, and, above all, the family and loved ones who meant so much to him. His legacy lives on through those closest to him, who will carry his memory with them always.

Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Frank Baker and Rosma June Baker.He is survived by his two sons, Ivan Baker Jr. and Ryan Baker; his beloved granddaughter, Addison Baker; and his longtime sweetheart, Marilyn Gensinger, and her family, who shared many years of love, companionship, and cherished memories with him.

Ivan will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
