James Jim'' J. Degnan

Degnan, James J., Jr. ?Jim,? 82, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday April 9, 2002 at Bon-Secours Maria Manor. Born in Worcester, MA, he came here in 1987 from Windsor, CT. He retired after thirty-five years from Kaman Aerospace in Bloomfield, CT, where he was the Director of Plant Engineering. He served as Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII and received the Victory Medal. He was a member of St. Raphael?s Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Vinoy Club. Survivors include one son, James J. ?Jim? III; one daughter, Maryellen DeLucia; and one brother, Paul Degnan, all of St. Petersburg; one sister, Marcy Doering, Worcester, MA; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
