John Morgan Hare

John Morgan Hare, 93, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026, leaving behind a loving family and an extraordinary life story that spanned continents, generations, and remarkable moments.

Born in Britain, John experienced history firsthand from an early age. As a child during World War II, he was evacuated from Britain to Canada for his safety. He later returned to Britain and went on to devote 22 years of his life to service in the Royal Air Force.

John was preceded in death by his first wife, Ingrid Hare, with whom he had his two sons, Peter and Mark.

For more than 22 years, John shared his life with his beloved wife, Nancy Hare, making their home together in St. Petersburg, Florida.

John is survived by his wife, Nancy Hare; his sons, Peter Hare and Mark Hare; daughters-in-law, Kathy Birch and Andrea Hare; his three stepchildren, Jennifer Cutro, Tammye Ashline, and Scott Newberry; son-in-law, Scot Fiedler; grandchildren, Jamie Hare, Issy Hare, and Sophy Hare; and step-grandsons, Eric Ashline, Bay Birch and Reef Birch.
